Tool 7

It was a fun experience creating a video using iMovie, and adding music to the background.

Reflection - Tool No. 11.

Some favorite tools in my personal technology toolbox were:

The Blog Set -up, and how to create an Avatar.
The Digital Storytelling to create a video.
Google docs. to cooperate with other teachers/ different classrooms.
Skype to connect classrooms, sharing information and using video conferences.
The Exploring Mobile Technology and Apps, so the students can work with them.

My thinking about the learning that will take place in my classroom has been transformed in a more challenging way with the use of technology in education.

Some unexpected outcomes from this program was that I did not know when I was going to be able to finish it, since I could not time every tool equally.

Tool No. 11.

I would teach the safety rules that good digital citizens should apply when using technology.
For example, they should not give personal information to strangers, they should use the technology tools to construct and not to destruct, and also to respect other people's views.
They should not believe that what they read on the Internet is necessarily true, and they should use appropriate language when digitally connected.

Tool No, 10.

Some of the free applications that I reviewed can be used by the students to further their knowledge in the different subjects taught.

I had the opportunity to "play" with a friend's Ipad, and I definitely had several WOW moments when I was able to download some of the different apps that this tool offers.

Tool No. 9

Skype is a great tool to communicate with other classrooms that are teaching the same subject that we are. In this way, the input and feedback can be of great benefit for the learning that we want to achieve.

Also, the students can have access to presentations given by third parties about the particular subject being taught at that time.
